There is a quiet epidemic in the modern church. Believers who genuinely love Jesus, who pray, who worship, who serve — yet who find themselves almost completely silent about their faith outside the four walls of the church.
It is not that they do not believe. It is that somewhere along the way, fear moved in. Fear of rejection. Fear of saying the wrong thing. Fear of being seen as strange, pushy, or irrelevant in a culture that often dismisses faith entirely.
But the Gospel was never meant to be contained.
The word Gospel literally means good news. And good news, by its very nature, is meant to be shared. When you hear something wonderful — when something life-changing happens to you — silence is the last instinct you have. You tell someone.
The early church had no buildings, no media platforms, no organised campaigns. What they had was an encounter with the risen Jesus and a boldness that came from being filled with the Holy Spirit (Acts 4:31). And they turned the world upside down.
You do not need a perfect script.
One of the greatest lies the enemy tells believers is that you need to have all the answers before you open your mouth. You do not. What you have is a testimony — a personal, lived experience of what Jesus has done in your life. And nobody can argue with that.
Your story is your greatest evangelistic tool. Share what you were, what happened, and what has changed. Keep it real, keep it personal, and trust the Holy Spirit to do what only He can do with the seeds you plant.
Romans 1:16 says the Gospel is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes. The power is in the message, not in your eloquence. You are simply the messenger.
Go. Open your mouth. Trust Him with the rest.
